Concrete Day 2010
Welcome to Vienna
With more than 90 exhibitors and 50 technical presentations, the CONCRETE DAY, organised by the Austrian Association for Concrete and Construction Technology (ÖVBB), offered a comprehensive overview of current developments in the construction sector.
This Central European construction congress, which brought together about 2,000 participants from over 16 countries, has developed into an international communication and innovation platform for experts in the field of concrete and construction technology.
The Austrian Society for Concrete- and Construction Technology, organiser of the Concrete Day, provided a platform for principals, building contractors, engineering offices and subcontractors from all over Central Europe. The event presented technological innovations and their practical applications within the framework of future-oriented projects. Positioned at the interface between the construction industry, policy-making and scientific research, the Concrete Day served as an international communication and innovation platform for 2,000 experts. In addition to the programme of technical lectures, products and services were presented by a record number of over 90 companies within the framework of the exhibition.
Although the crisis in the construction industry for most European countries would be over until the year 2012, there were concrete congress in 2010 the CONCRETE DAY 2010 featured presentations of the most advanced technological trends, project previews and examples of projects planned and implemented in the fields of both transport infrastructure and building construction.
